Our story began long before hosting. Through our careers in healthcare, we’ve dedicated ourselves to taking care of others, often during their most vulnerable moments. Healthcare taught us the value of compassion, trust, and attention to detail — qualities that became the foundation of how we approach every home we design for guests.

Outside of work, our greatest joy has been traveling together. Over the years, we’ve explored the streets of Europe, the markets of Asia, and countless cities across the U.S. Along the way, we stayed everywhere from luxury hotels to hidden Airbnbs tucked into quiet neighborhoods. Some places left us with incredible memories — a perfectly made coffee bar in Paris, a spotless bathroom after a long day in Tokyo, a welcoming host who left thoughtful touches that made us feel instantly at home. Other times, we left wishing for a little more comfort, a little more detail, a little more care.

These experiences shaped Maison Venka. We realized that hosting wasn’t just about providing a place to sleep — it was about creating spaces that feel both polished and personal, where every detail is designed with the traveler in mind.
